SEA MOUNTAINS

Sea mountains, also known as underwater or seamounts, are submerged volcanic peaks that rise from the sea floor. They can be found in various parts of the world's oceans and can vary in size and shape. These underwater features are often formed by volcanic eruptions and can reach heights of several thousand meters from the ocean floor. Seamounts can provide important habitat for marine life, as they create upwelling currents and attract a diverse range of species. Some seamounts can even reach the surface of the water and form islands or coral reefs
